Create a Desert Adventure with Scratch Jr

Overview

In this project, we will create a Desert Adventure scene in Scratch Jr. Children will have fun designing a desert landscape and adding animated characters like camels, eagles, and snakes to bring their scene to life.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Setting up the Desert Scene

   • Choose a desert background from the library.
   • Add sand or desert elements to the scene.

2. Adding Characters

   • Choose camel, eagle, and snake characters from the library.
   • Position the characters in the scene.

3. Animating Characters

   • Use the Motion blocks to make the camel move across the screen.
   • Make the eagle jump up and down using the Jump block.
   • Have the snake slither across the desert using the Move block.
